_barnabi_ @ 09:50 pm: Hello! My name is Kat, and I just found this community today.
Ummn, I guess I joined because I have a darling bunny, and I was hoping to find a newer, and smaller bunny community than most of the ones already that have been established. I hope people are going to be active here. ^^

Not the best picture, but that was when she was smaller. Since she was given to me by a friend when she was a year old, I pretty much had to learn to care for her myself. And I have a few questions, if that's okay. She's pretty well behaved and understands when I tell her not to do something, but I am a little curious as to why she seems to think she can dig into my leg.. Usually, I'll be sitting at the computer, and she'll start using it as a scratching post. And when I pay attention to her, she'll try and climb/dig into my arm. Is there any reason for this? Is she being aggressive?

Hi there! Sorry for the delay, I didn't know anyone had joined this group. lol

You're bunny is a cutey. As for your question, I think she's just a natural digger. One of my bunnies is like that. No matter what I do, she tried to burrow. We'll be sitting on the couch and she'll try to dig a hole in my leg. I've found that keeping her nails trimmed helps, and giving her a box filled with shredded paper during play time lets her take out her aggression on that.

Hope that helps a bit.

Whooa, sorry! I haven't been on LJ in a while. Thank you so much for the advice. ^^ I'm going to try doing that, then. She really does seem to love digging, along with scratching at stuff. I find it kind of difficult to trim her nails, so her original owner has been reaching me how to hold her and stuff. Thank you for the response! <3
